I have dedicated my life to fostering creativity as a professional art educator, guiding thousands of students through the techniques, elements of art and the myriad ways to create uniquely as each student expressed themselves. Today, I have retired from the classroom to step fully back into my own studio practice, focusing on the two mediums that bring me the deepest joy: master-level fine art charcoal portraits and large-scale acrylic murals.
My work is built on technical precision, emotional resonance, and structural longevity.Whether I am rendering the subtle depth of a loved one's gaze in charcoal or transforming a commercial space with a vibrant mural, I paint for the future. In fact, my commercial murals are designed to be a lasting legacy-one of my largest daycare murals was recently refreshed by request, standing beautifully for 18 years before its update. From high-end art gallery floors to intimate children's boutiques, I understand how to make art live harmoniously within a space.
